Where To Eat For Your Charleston Bachelorette Party
High end & Historic is the only way to go when dining in Charleston.
We are starting in downtown Charleston with Poogan's Porch, the oldest independent dining establishment that serves elevated lowcountry cuisine in an restored Victorian home located off Queen Street. We are suckers for a good brunch spots, but their dinner looks amazing as well! We think it would be exceptional sitting outside enjoying sipping a Poogan’s Salty Dog and eating the most southern meal; Chicken and Waffles.
Located in the Cigar Factory, we have Mercantile and Mash. A food emporium that offers breakfast, lunch, coffee and more. From the House Ricotta Bowl to their chopped salad; this sounds like a good starting place before a busy day! While here, check out Bar Mash. Featuring American Whiskey, beer, cozy craft cocktails, and small bites for a late night stop!
The soul of Charleston can be felt everywhere, but you specifically want to feel it from the Watch Rooftop Kitchen and Spirits. Local ingredients, craft cocktails, amazing views, and good company is all to be felt when dining here. Crafted Spritzers, Raw Oyster Platters and Charcuterie Boards are calling our names from the rooftop! Keep in mind this is located on the 7th floor of The Restoration Hotel, which also has dreamy hotel rooms and picturesque photo ops for your Bach Party to call home for a couple of days!
Prohibition? Without a secret knock, a classic 1920’s speakeasy. Step back in time with it’s bourbon barrel ceilings and vintage inspired decor. They have been nominated for best cocktails and cuisine throughout Charleston. Offering brunch, lunch, and dinner. Our favorite part of this place isn’t even the food, even though we are HUGE foodies. It’s the fact that EVERY DAY they offer live music, dance lessons and DJ’s of different varieties and genres. OVERALL this place is a 10/10.. No wonder it won Charleston over.
Wine and Dine, Ladies? Josephine's Wine Bar has got it going on. Chic and sophisticated interiors serve as the perfect backdrop located on Spring Street in the heart of Charleston's new restaurant row. Let’s share a bottle or two and snack on the Burden Creek Whipped Goat Cheese Toast. They also have a KILLER wine and cheese happy hour. Can’t say no to something that great!
The best Raw Bar in all of Charleston happens to be in the Historic District; Amen Street. Walking distance from the Market and the Charleston Harbour sounds like a wonderful afternoon! Our mouths are watering from reading their menu of fresh fish and raw bar. Hang tight, while we go make my reservations. Don’t forget an ice cold beer while dining on their patio!
All of these restaurants also offer private events ~ perfect for all your Bachelorette needs and wants! Enjoy all the southern charm while eating out in Charleston. For all my SouthernCharm junkies, tip one back with Shep if you happen to see him out!
