Desire Oyster Bar - The menu emphasizes the Gulf seafood featuring New Orleans favorites; Po-boys, gumbo, shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, and of course, oysters. Located at 300 Bourbon Street, this restaurant has huge windows, tin ceiling, and black and white checkered flooring.
Cornet - In the heart of the French Quarter, serving classic, authentic creole and cajun cuisine! Our MUST HAVES would be the Bourbon Street Crab Cake and the Crawfish Mac N Cheese.
Belle Epoque - Through the courtyard of the historic Old Absinthe House lies a cocktail lounge 200 years in the making. Moodily - lit, storytelling and unique incorporating delectable French flavors and rustic American fare. The Parisian Gnocchi and Chilled Crab Claws would be our two top picks!
Did you think we forgot about Brunch? Don’t worry, this is everyone's favorite meal! No chance we forgot.
Cafe Conti - Located in the Prince Conti Hotel. Open everyday from 7- 3 serving French and Creole inspiried breakfast and lunch. We are deff breakfast fanatics. We like to indulge in sweets for breakfast so our obvious go to would be Nuetella and Banana Crepes. The Croque Madame definitely caught our eyes!
Lastly, The beignets. If you go to NOLA and don’t get beignets…did you even really go?
Cafe Du Monde - Originally fried fritters filled with fruit. Today, what we all know and love, beignets are a square piece of dough, fried, topped with powdered sugar. Served in threes. This is a STAPLE of New Orleans. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week. There is always a line out the door and there is powdered sugar EVERYWHERE.
