Bahamas Bachelorette Guide
Clear blue oceans, all-inclusive resorts, endless drinks, what else could you ask for in the perfect bachelorette weekend? The Bahamas really does have it all whether you want to relax poolside all weekend or get a little adventurous. We have the perfect break down for you!
Where to Stay
When going to the Bahamas we definitely recommend a hotel as opposed to an AirBnB. But, before getting into choosing the right hotel, you need to decide which Island is the perfect fit for you and your crew. If you want to be near a lot of the action shoot for a trip to Nassau.
The Bubblegum pink exterior matched with an all white sleek modern interior gives off the best vibes for your weekend. While having 2 pools on their property, staying at the SLS will also give you access to all of Baha Mar including the casino, spa, restaurants, bars and so much more.
Privilege Pool is also a MUST during your stay. It’s an adult only pool with day long parties with DJS and non stop drinks. Cabanas are available and you can stay here all day and night with your girls.
Since Fowl Cay is all inclusive and we want you to get the best bang for your buck, we highly recommend staying on the property and taking all it has to offer to your advantage! There’s only one restaurant on site, but with a fully stocked fridge and pantry your possibilities are endless. If you don’t feel like making your own lunch, you can have the chef prepare a picnic to take on your boat to enjoy on a private island just for you and your crew (literally a scene out of our dreams OMG).
With a swim-up bar, beautifully designed rooms, great food choices and an infinity pool it’s hard to find anything to complain about here. Bimini has a great swimming with dolphins excursion that makes for the cutest pics that are so different from typical bachelorette weekend shoots.
Nassau is the capital of the Bahamas and has a range of local shops, and bars all the way to their more luxurious side better known as Baha Mar. Baha Mar is home to the largest casino in the caribbean so if you’re trying to win big we definitely recommend staying here. Our top choice for a hotel in Nassau is The SLS Baha Mar.
In Baha Mar you will be in your own little paradise in the resort. Your trip can not be completed without at least one night at Bond Nightclub. Bond is Nassau’s #1 night club and will 100% provide you with an unforgettable night filled with fun drinks, and great performances from DJS that hopefully no one will actually remember the next morning.
The Exumas is the picture-perfect place in the Bahamas. It will be significantly less crowded than any other of the Islands but is a true slice of paradise. Home to the swimming pigs, this island tends to be a little bit pricier than the others. If this is the route you’re going for we recommend the Fowl Cay Resort.
The Fowl Cay Resort offers Villas so you’ll be getting the Air Bnb feeling with the All-inclusive resort treatment (a win-win in our book)! The villas range from 1 to 3 bedrooms and when they say all-inclusive they really mean it. Each stay at Fowl Cay includes: a fully stocked fridge, all premium meals, liquor and drinks, a personal boat, golf cart, access to all activities, games, and amenities on the property.
If your crew is looking to get a little rowdy, Bimini may be the best choice for you. Bimini is the quickest Island in the Bahamas to get to (just a 30 minute plane ride from Miami!). If this is your vibe we definitely recommend staying at the Hilton at Resorts World Bimini.

Grab Some Grub!
Back over to Nassau, Nobu is your place to go. Whether you are celebrating a bachelorette, anniversary, or just a family trip, at Nobu, it’s always a celebration. The Japanese/European fusion menu is enough to make anyone mouth water.
If Bimini is your vibe you definitely can have more freedom to explore. Stuart’s Conch Stand is a local favorite for seafood and is highly recommended by anyone who has ever tried it! You can rent a golf cart through your hotel and make a whole day trip out of going, explore the island a bit and embrace the local ways. With tables overlooking the Caribbean Sea, grab some conch and sit back and relax!
If you’re still feeling adventurous and craving more local experiences, Bimini has a plethora of local bars that you could check out. Now, these bars won’t have a crazy night club vibe but they will give you the chance to meet the nicest people and have an amazing night. We recommend The End of The World Bar. This bar is a crowd pleaser! It’s a little dive bar that will give you a night like no other you’ve ever had.

Things to Do
When going to The Bahamas, you will not run out of things to do. Swimming with pigs/sharks/fishes/dolphins, going deep sea fishing, kite/para/wind-surfing, renting bikes, going on boat cruises/tours, or just diving into the culture, you can’t go wrong with any of these activities! Might as well just go island hopping and try something new every day ;)
So, Which Bahamas Island is the right choice for you? Are you looking to shop your days away, drink until the sun rises, lounge on the beach, or get adventurous with your crew? Whichever one you pick, you will have an amazing trip!
