Where to stay for a Palm Springs bachelorette?

MY OH MY! Hotel El Cid was the most incredible bachelorette pad if we’d ever seen one.  The picture perfect, black and white striped cabanas by the pool made for epic photos all weekend.  There were SIX bedrooms; two girls shared one bedroom that was all around a cute little courtyard with a fire pit.  They each had a bathroom and a kitchen, which was perfect to make sure everyone’s stuff wasn’t ALL over the house.  There was one main part of the house that included the living room and main kitchen so the girls could all hang out together, but honestly, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect for a February weekend, so the girls were outside most of the time.  We always recommend getting an Airbnb for those that would like to have a kitchen and a pool,  but this also helps keep the cost down because you can enjoy the onsite activities instead of spending money doing activities during the day. If you’re looking for the perfect Airbnb to stay in for a bachelorette, look no further.  Hotel El Cid is the place to be.

Night One at Camp Kaplan

Heather (of Heather Lane Events and my #Bestie) and I packed our bags and headed to Palm Springs on Thursday! I got there a tad early and got to check out Norma’s at The Parker Hotel.  It was the cutest hotel with the famous orange door that I’m sure you’ve seen online! I will say… it was the most adorable aesthetic, but very expensive. My mimosa was $16!  I was sad too because I wanted to see the pool and their “Lemonade Stand” restaurant, but only hotel guests were allowed back. But definitely go for a couple pictures, because cue heart eyes.

We were able to get the girls to check in to Hotel El Cid two hours early so that we could get things set up before the girls arrived. The girls went out to get drinks beforehand, so it definitely helped alleviate some time! We got everything done just in the knick of time for the girls to arrive at 4pm! They were SO excited and all the details looked so good.

Head over to the gallery of all the decor we did here!

For Night One, the girls started with cocktails poolside before heading to The Purple Palm for dinner! Each night the girl were requested to wear a specific color scheme or theme; we LOVE that!  This night was vintage Palm Springs / Slim Aarons attire! The troops of Camp Kaplan looked SO cute! They went to Seymour’s after for drinks, then headed back to the house for some much needed rest for the weekend.

Day Two at Camp Kaplan

The girls started off with brunch at Juniper Table, which was the perfect start to their day.   They hung out by the pool all day, got some sun, and drank LOTS of champagne!  Veuve was their choice of champagne, so clearly you know they were our type of girls.  The girls headed to The Parker Hotel for drinks around 4pm, so that we could come back in and get the house ready for their evening.

When the girls came back from cocktails at the hotel, we had a new set up for them. Welcome to the Hamptons! They did a Hampton themed Lobster dinner catered by F10 Catering! They said it was one of the best dinners they had ever had. Their dinner included a salad, lobster rolls, and a dessert, which is my personal fav, chocolate covered strawberries! They also had a bartender who was serving spicy margaritas! You can find our full set up of our decor here!

Where’s our Galentine’s at?!

Then after dinner, we surprised them with a Galentine’s party!  How perfect right?! They played our bachelorette games that you can find HERE and just had so much fun hanging with their gal pals.  We had set up a candy bar too which was the perfect dessert after their lobster dinner.

Day Three at Camp Kaplan

Saturday morning was a mimosa and bagel brunch provided by Wexler’s at the Arrive Hotel. The Got Your Bach team picked it up and set it up for the girls back at the Airbnb.  The weather was perfect so we set it up outside so the girls could enjoy.  After breakfast, the girls went to get ready and we came back to do a poolside photoshoot with the most amazing balloon installation from Magical Balloon Decor. Thanks to Funboy the girls had the BEST time with all the pool floats that are literally every bachelorette dream.  Check them out to see which one you need to get for your next bachelorette or summer.

Once they were done in the sun, the girls headed inside to get ready for dinner.  The theme for this night was Tropical and boy, did they look the part! We had set up a cocktail party by the pool for the girls to hang out before heading to dinner.  We surprised them with a mini photoshoot from Abbie Mae Photography, but that wasn’t the only surprise of the night!

MANSERVANTS!

Oh my word, y’all.  If you are in Los Angeles, Palm Springs, or New York for a bachelorette, the Manservants are a must.  Jillian had no idea they were coming and it was the best surprise.   If you don’t know anything about them, their name gives it away.  They will come to your bachelorette pad and treat you like the queen you deserve to be.  The Manservant were making drinks all night, taking photos for the girls, and just being the sweetest guys ever.

Every girls dream.

One of them even went and changed into his mini swim trunks for the Honeymoon shower part of the evening.  Each girl brought a gift for Jillian and she had to guess who bought that gift. It was so fun!

After the cocktail party, the girls got in their party bus and headed to the Pink Cabana for dinner. Heather, my sister, and I had dinner there the night prior for Valentine’s Day, so I can attest to the food. It was incredible and not to mention the cutest place ever.  The Pink Cabana is located in the Sands Hotel and Spa in Indian Wells and is about 30 minutes away from Downtown Palm Springs.

Bye Bye Jacobs!

Before heading back to Los Angeles, the girls got their stuff packed up and headed out the door for one more activity.  They went to drag brunch at Azucar.  I mean… every bachelorette must end with mimosas right?! They did one last toast to Ms. Jacobs before she becomes Mrs. Kaplan!

We had so much fun (probably too much) hanging with the girls all weekend. We can’t wait to be back in Palm Springs for another bachelorette this year.  Feel free to ask us any questions below about the décor (check our blog post here), what they did, etc. or head to our Instagram to check out Camp Kaplan in our highlights.
