How To Have A Bachelorette At Home
Hey Girlies! We know you’ve probably heard enough about the COVID-19 that is sweeping the nation right now. So Got Your Bach is here to take your mind off that and let’s focus on what we do best- WE PARTY! We have complied a list of ideas on how to throw the best bachelorette at home! We are all being impacted by this but don’t worry there is TONS of great resources out there!
To get the weekend started either rent an Airbnb / VRBO (they are having discounts & a flexible cancellation policy right now) or have one of the girls in your group host it at their house! Bonus points if you have a pool! At many of our bachelorettes we LOVE suggesting pools because they provide all day entertainment! You and all the girls can lounge poolside with drinks and snacks in hand. Theres nothing better than being next to your favorite gals, especially in times like these.
At night host a bonfire! Break out ALL the marshmallows, fire wood, and lawn chairs and gather with your girls and spill all your best memories around a bonfire! Also, check out our DIY cocktail gifts blog for the BEST bonfire drink recipe. It won’t disappoint-we promise.
Have each of your girls bring a bottle (or two, or three depending on how long you’ve been stuck inside) of their favorite wine/drinks! Spend the night sipping on all your options. You can find printable tasting cards here so you can rate everyones drink! Plus, they are super extra. Extra is practically Got Your Bach’s middle name. Whoever gets the most votes wins and prize and whoever has the least has to… well we will let you and your girls decide that!
A great day activity is painting and DIY crafts! We LOVE doing DIYs. Some turn out great and most turn out not so great-but we always leave with amazing memories. All you need to do is grab a bunch of canvas, paints, and of course, wine and host your own painting night at home! There are tons of online painting tutorials so have your group pick one everyone likes and get to painting! Painting will take a few hours plus everyone will go home with something to remember the best bachelorette EVER!
Run to target, get a bunch of games, and host a game night! One of our favorite games is Telestrations After Dark! Do you guys remember playing telephone when you were younger? It’s kind of like that, but you draw what the person before you guessed. We have NEVER laughed so hard seeing what everyone draws! Ours always take a turn for the worst, but come on!!! It’s fun like that right?
Wake up and host a mimosas and manis party! It’s super easy to set up an at home mimosa bar and then just pick your signature colors! Grab a few bottles of each color and have everyone do each others nails. To add in some extra cuteness order everyone matching pajamas/robes! Matching pajamas and nails? Can we say #adorbs?
Ask what the brides favorite recipe is and host a dinner at one of your houses! Assign one person to pick up all the ingredients and everyone get to cookin! An extra way to go above and beyond is get in touch with the mother of the bride or grandmother-find out what their favorite childhood dessert was and surprise the bride with it! It’s a great easy way to make the bride feel special and its so simple.
Or host a potluck and have everyone bring an item! Assign everyone a course (appetizer, main, dessert, etc.)! Then just have a modge podge of food!
Grab the lingerie and have a boudoir photoshoot or any type of photoshoot in house! You’ll have these pictures forever and you’ll be able to look back and laugh at those times you were stuck in the house and had to make do.
Going off that note host a panty party! Have everyone bring one pair of new panties that reflects their OWN personality. Then have the bride guess who brought what pair!
Hello!!!!! A classic-Rom Com Movie Night! This is SOOOO simple and we promise you’ll have a great time. Have the bride pick out all her favorite rom coms and host a movie night! Have everyone bring blankets and pillows and set up in the living room for an all night slumber party. Set up a snack bar with candy, popcorn, and drinks. Make a whole night out of it! Have matching pjs, play truth or dare (remember how we said pools are a great idea? We could think of some good dares that involve a pool) and have a mimosa bar ready for the morning! This one is picture perfect.
