For the Budget Bride
We’ll start with the one-stop-shop that is Amazon. Amazon is truly a gift from the gods. They sell plenty of kits for bachelorette decor. From balloon arches to banner kits, Amazon has you covered. These are some of our recommendations, but go ahead and search for anything on there that you might be looking for!
For the Crafty Bride
If you are looking to get a bit more hands on, glue stick and all, there are some decorations that you can get your hands dirty with. We’ve put together a short list of our absolute favorite decorations that you can make yourself (maybe with a little help from your girls). Put on your paint shirt, head to Michael’s, and grab your glitter glue because these decorations will require you to get crafty!
Glitter Champagne Bottle
We love the look of these custom champagne bottles, both as a party favor and just as a fun cocktail surprise. We suggest getting a ton of regular glitter, mod podge, and a roll of tulle for this craft. If you’d like to completely customize the bottle, pick up Avery labels and create a label on a Word document that goes with your theme. You’ll start by taping up the parts of the bottle that you want to keep visible and paint mod podge on the rest of the bottle. Once the bottle is covered in mod podge, pour glitter over the bottle – slowly to ensure coverage all over. Once dry, feel free to cover the bottle in another layer of mod podge to make sure the glitter stays. Finally, stick the labels over where the labels would normally sit on the bottle. This is for the more experienced crafter. There are tons of videos on Pinterest and youtube for a backdrop like this. If you are wanting to create something like this, make sure to have lots of time and patience. This is such a fun thing to do if you have some of the attendees come over and help build it before heading out on the bachelorette trip!
This blog really lays out how to do this backdrop and really helps with everything you need!
Some other backdrop ideas:
Out of all the decorations, this is one of our absolute favorites! What bride doesn’t want to run around with her groom’s face all weekend?! Find a clear picture of your hubby and take it over to Kinkos or Staples to get printed...at least a foot tall...on poster paper, and snag some large popsicle sticks from Michael’s. Once you get the gigantic prints of the groom back, cut them out and tape or glue them to the popsicle stick. Voila! You have the best photo booth prop!
Rhinestone Cowboy Hat
This one is so easy and it looks so perfect! Head over to Amazon to get a white cowboy hat, veil, and MRS patches. Get some super glue and hey, you’re all ready to go! This is so perfect for Nashville bride and her babes. If you want to go all out, get some rhinestones and make some like our clients’ did for their bride to be!
Or just buy it here! 😉
