Wedding Wednesday: Wedding Winery Venues

ww Winery .png

This post is for our wine loving couples!

Wineries are a great place to drink, but they also make wedding planning elegant and simple! Having the wedding essentially in the bar, makes menu planning logistics easy to navigate. A custom keepsake idea could be a bottle of wine, with the bride and groom on it and the year of the wedding. The ceremony and the reception are conveniently in the same location, which makes it organized for your guests. The movie-like backdrop fully satisfies any and all photography and videography needs. There is nothing more romantic than privacy, in a vineyard up and away from the hustle and bustle of other guests, like in a hotel or other mainstream venue. Make your wedding one to remember and check out the beauty and solitude of a winery wedding.

A popular venue for outdoor weddings, and for perfect reason! Wineries make the most dreamy and romantic background for pictures, a sea of rolling hills and valleys as far as the eye can see. Some of America's most picturesque wineries have been selected for you to browse through! Come join our wine tour and scroll through for wedding inspiration!

Cielo Farms

Malibu, California

These pictures may look like they're from an European destination wedding, but we’re still in California!

Beautiful Malibu is the next stop on our wine tour! Home to the stars and celebrities, we can see why with these mountain top views. Cielo Farms is quite a star itself, being the background for a recent celebrity wedding to Brittany Snow and Tyler Stanaland, making it into People Magazine. As well as being featured in hundreds of Instagram posts for the model vineyard of modern and boho California  weddings. These pictures speak for themselves, hundreds of spots to take a first look, family, and bridal party photos, the possibilities are endless out in Cielo Farms.

Buena Vista Winery

Sonoma, California

We saved the best California destination for last, Sanonma!

California’s first premium winery established in 1857. Located on Old Winery Road, Buena Vista is one the reasons Sonoma is on the map for wine country. Over 6,000 acres stretch from Sonoma to Napa, ideal territory for soil and sun for grape growth. Get married in the vineyards, and hold your reception outside under starlight and string lights in the courtyard. There is a castle-like feel to Buena Vista winery, with stone walls and gigantic entryways this venue is bound to make any bride feel like a princess.

Maysara Winery and Momtazi Vineyards

McMinnville, Oregon

The wine tour continues up along the West Coast!

Indoor and outdoor venues are hosted on 532 acres of vineyard. Here you have the ideal option to plan where you would like your ceremony and reception.  The outdoor area provides a perfect lawn area in a swell of a valley from the vineyards. Set up your chairs and isel for the ceremony or string up some lights and add a dance floor for the reception.  If you walk over to the indoor venue, a rustic yet sophisticated wine cellar feel is the ideal private and intimate spot to say “I do”. Or turn the indoor venue into a party room, keep on the lights and dance all night with family and friends.

Bedell Cellars

Cutchogue, New York

Nestled up on the North Fork of Rhode Island, this winery is fairly new appearing in the late 1980’s. Picture an intimate ceremony besides the oak tree, on the lawn with loved ones. Seeing your bride walk down the aisle under the twinkling lights, is enough to make any groom cry. Grab the tissues and head up to the venue. Here at Bedell Cellars they can accommodate up to 200 guests, underneath the cathedral ceilings on top of their 4,000 square foot mahogany deck that overlooks the vineyards. Wine is charged by consumption, with no minimum purchase required, along with a 15% discount when booking your big day with them.
