How to Plan the Ultimate Birthday Bash

This is all about the must do’s for your ultimate birthday bash to make it the most memorable event ever! Grab your friends and it’s time to plan this best birthday party that you’ll never forget!

We recently celebrated Got Your Bash’s 4th birthday and it could not have been more amazing! From the custom goodies to the floral bar, every detail was thought out! We’re including some pictures from our event for some inspiration on how to make your next birthday bash the best one ever! HUGE thanks to the amazing vendors that made it happen!

Everything from group sizes, themes, locations, and more are all up to you! However, we will give you some ideas to help you brainstorm for this special event. These are all customizable to fit your preferences and budget!

First off, whether you are planning a destination birthday party or one local to you, finding an ideal location is a must! The time of the year definitely plays a huge role in that decision. Do you prefer to celebrate your birthday in warm, tropical, or colder weather? Do you want it to be at your house, a venue or a restaurant? When we were looking at venues for our GYB Birthday Bash, we wanted somewhere that was a blank slate, so we could design however we wanted! That’s why we picked Lit Photo Studios in Dallas, TX!

With that being said, based on your location, next you can decide on a theme! There are a plethora of themes to choose from, and the list is unlimited. You could even be creative and come up with your own unique theme!

Once you decide on location and theme, you can come up with a color scheme to match your theme! You can have the people attending your bash to wear coordinating colors if you’d like! Decorating the space for the theme is very essential, especially for the memorable photo opportunities! For our events, we always recommend balloons, marquee letters / numbers, florals, and backdrops to elevate the space. At the end of the day, you are just looking to create a special event to be able to celebrate with your closest friends.

If you are into the photo backdrops, that would be such a great addition to an event to allow your guests to take pictures and socialize with others! Either hosting an event or renting out a boat for the day, this will be a birthday you won’t forget. Other ideas for birthday parties are: murder mysteries, picnics, in-home spa days, pool day, or even a cooking class. Planning a special day like this takes a little bit of time and thought; however, it is something anyone can do!
