When in doubt, take a girls trip to Charlotte!

Your guide to a perfect, fun-filled weekend in the Queen City… but the city isn’t the only thing that's a queen. ;)

Of course you and your gals need a place to lay your pretty head, so let's start with where you should stay:

First up, The Ivey’s Hotel: This is a boutique hotel that will make sure you feel like you’re living in the most luxurious way you can for your weekend! It's a 47-story building located in Uptown Charlotte. It is modern, yet historic with its architecture, elegant and sultry when it comes to the decor. It includes dining and amazing amenities!

The Dunhill Hotel: The Dunhill Hotel is a historic hotel that is sophisticated and gorgeous. It is located only minutes away from museums, nightlife, and shopping! The restaurant in the hotel, The Asbury, serves beautifully plated meals, plus, they also offer room service in case you want to kick it in your lavish rooms!

Now that you know where you’re staying, let's figure out what you want to do! Charlotte's ~not like the other girls~ she has something for everyone! Whether you’re a shopper or you are an outdoorsy gal, we have just the activities for you.

This event is a little unconventional, butttt it is so fun and very different from your typical bachelorette weekend activity. Here at GYB we specialize in unique things and this is no exception! The U.S. The National Whitewater Center has of course, whitewater rafting, hiking, zip lining, a ton of fun activities for your adventurous crew!

How does hopping on a trolley car and touring Charlotte sound? Take a ride on a Trolley Pub car and enjoy wine, ciders, beer, and seltzers while you take a trip around Uptown, NoDa, or the South End of Charlotte! Your crew can pick 3 stops to enjoy while they are on their tour.

Uptown: You can see skyscrapers, scout out fun nightlife, and visit Irish pubs.

NoDa: This tour is definitely for the gals who love their different brews. You get to experience breweries and trendy, fun restaurants.

South End: On this ride you will get to shop at high end retailers, drink freshly brewed beer, and eat at chic restaurants.

We know that activities are fun to go to, but we know everyone loves to dress up for a good meal to post on the Gram.
Trust us, these restaurants are sure to make the cut! Of course our first category is always brunch because it's the most important meal of the day. ;)

Brunch: You can NOT leave this city without paying a visit to Haymaker! They specialize in using farm fresh food, which means their menu changes to offer the freshest ingredients. They serve anything from mouth watering cinnamon French toast to a juicy fried chicken sandwich! And don’t forget to order a bloody mary!

This next restaurant is so delicious that you may want to go there for both lunch and dinner! Haberdish is a southern inspired kitchen that will really let you taste the Carolinas. While you are there, you may be able to make a meal solely on the sides! Sides include smoked mac and cheese, perfectly fried tater tots, and their homemade biscuits and butter. Of course their main courses include the most delectable fried foods!

To calm down that sweet tooth, we're going to head over to Ninety’s Ice Cream! They sell ice cream, duh, but this isn't just any ice cream. They make the most unique creations and flavors such as dark chocolate hazelnut and graham cracker crunch. You can create a shake, sandwich, or ice cream with any flavors or toppings you'd like!

Now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for… Nightlife!

Members Only Tasting Room & Social is the place to be for all things nightlife in Charlotte. It's a speakeasy that serves the finest liquors, beers, champagnes, and cocktails! The owner opened this with the intent to be a fun place for a girls night in mind, so of course you'll have a great time!

We know you’ll be awake to see the moon come up and the sun come out, so spend your night at Howl at the Moon! This is a live music bar that will surely wake up the inner wolves of all your ladies, even the most uptight gal can ~let loose~! Sing, dance, and drink the night away!
